FAQs
Have a question? I have the answer!
What are your rates?
My rates vary and depend on several factors such as the service being provided (what kind of shoot are we doing?), turnaround time, location, and more. Please email me at katie@katieeng.com for more information!
Tell me more about your grad package.
Graduation shoots are one of my favorite to do, and one of my most popular! I specialize in Santa Clara University (my alma mater!), but also enjoy shooting at other schools/universities and locations. Have a vision of your grad pictures being done at a park, forest, garden, even in a restaurant? Let's work together to make that vision a reality! A travel fee will be added for locations that require me to travel 20+ mi outside of my local radius.
I like to structure my grad shoots to be casual and tailored towards each person/group! I am more than happy to do a mixture of individual shots and group shots during your 1hr time slot. Outfit changes and props are also welcome - and complimentary!
I work hard to get you your photos in a timely manner. Expect to receive your photos from me through Google Drive in no longer than a week.
Do you take Venmo? Zelle? Cash?
All of the above! Venmo is my most popular form of payment but I take Zelle and cash as well.
I need to cancel or reschedule. What do I do?
Please let me know if you have a change of plans or schedule as soon as you find out! Life happens, and I'm happy to reschedule and find a better time that works for you.
What happens if there is rain or bad weather on the day of my shoot?
Rain and bad weather is an inevitable part of shooting outdoors. We can find a time that works for both of us to reschedule!
What do I need to know going into my grad shoot?
Yay!! Please plan on arriving on time with all members of your party present so we can maximize our time together. Remember to bring any props (stole, cap and gown, champagne, anything else) or outfit changes. It can also be nice to bring makeup for touch-ups and a hairbrush - the wind can be unpredictable!
The most important thing is to have fun - this is your moment, enjoy and soak it in! I try my best to make the experience as fun as possible. :)
Do you use film for clients?
Yes! I love the timeless look that film photography provides. If you're interested in a shoot using 35mm film, please let me know! My rates for this vary depending on the prices of film stocks/development prices in the area.
How far in advance should we book your services?
I appreciate as much as much notice as possible! Depending on my availability, I general consider one week as the minimum.
